My Commitment

I am committed to providing a safe and accepting therapeutic environment that facilitates growth, insight, and change.

"Our wounds are often the openings into the best and most beautiful parts of ourselves." David Richo

My approach is characterized by curiosity, compassion, and the capacity to be present, non-judgmental, and empathetic.

I am a white, non-binary, child-free person. I have a middle-aged cat and an adolescent dog who have, on occasion, make guest appearances in telehealth sessions. I tend to myself by rock climbing, seeking out my own therapeutic care, connecting with my community, spending time in my garden, and running around in nature. I truly enjoy this work, and it is such a gift to be able to connect with my clients through it.

I strive to provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals to explore their thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and experiences. I specialize in working with trauma and individuals who identify as Queer. I draw upon interventions rooted in a multitude of counseling theories, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Narrative Exposure Therapy. My approach creates space for clients to feel in tune with their body, identify how emotions show up for them, and create space for new insights. I received my Masters in Social Work from the University of Denver in 2017 and have been crafting my practice since then.
